Children and young people's services are moving from the grant regime to a commissioning and procurement model which is having a considerable impact on the voluntary and community sector who deliver services. The Initiative for Social Entrepreneurs (ISE) in partnership with VCS Matters are running a series of workshops and training sessions for Voluntary Sector organisations who want to know more about how these changes will affect them and what they can do to increase their skills and knowledge to become ready for contracting.

Introduction to Commissioning
This workshop will enable organisations to:
· Gain and understanding of what Commissioning and Procurement is
· Gain an overview of the commissioning and procurement process
· Highlight some key barriers to overcome
· Help organisations become contract ready.
