Title:                 First Aid at Work (inc. Paediatric First Aid)

Time:                9:00am - 5:00pm
Venue:              Ladywood Arts and Leisure Centre

Target Group:     Community and Playworkers in Statutory and Voluntary settings

Details:              This 4 day course will include:
• Responsibility of a First Aider
• First Aid Boxes and Record-keeping
• Management of the unconscious casualty
• Recovery position and resuscitation
• Emergency treatment
• Paediatric Basic Life Support

After successful completion of the course (this includes formal assessment) participants will receive an Appointed Persons Emergency Aid certificate valid for 3 years.

Please note that this course involves practical activity. Participants should be able to kneel and lie down with ease.
