The Department of Communities and Local Government (DCLG) will be distributing grants of up to £12,000 to groups within the Region over two years. The Faiths in Action programme will support opportunities within local communities for people of different religions and beliefs to develop strong and positive relationships with one another.

Faiths in Action is a £4 million grants programme. It is open to faith, voluntary and community organisations and groups in England from 1 August 2008.

The application deadline is 1 November 2008.  DCLG are providing application support if you submit your draft application before the 3 October 2008.
