The Changing Face of HIV in Birmingham Start: 09:00 End: 16:30 Come and join people with HIV, carers and health professionals in Birmingham to shape the future and hear about the good practice that is being delivered by the HIV sector in Birmingham. More importantly the conference is about people with HIV taking control of their health by getting involved with the HIV Reference Forum and services. Local HIV services will have stalls and displays. Signers and a crèche will be available. Free lunch and refreshments will be available. FREE TO ATTEND Governing Structures - What Suits You? Start: 10:00 End: 12:00 Aimed at new voluntary organisations The course will enable participants to understand different governing structures for voluntary organisations, the duties and requirements involved, and to examine the advantages and disadvantages of the different structures. B.STRONG training is designed to build knowledge and skills in a range of organisational development issues. The courses are free of charge and open to voluntary and community organisations - management committee members, staff, volunteers and their service users.
