Coffee and Commissioning Event
This morning event (ending with lunch) at BVSC, 138 Digbeth, is an opportunity for voluntary and community organisations to find out more about health commissioning, and what it takes to get ‘commissioning ready’. There will be presentations from the Birmingham Health and Well Being Partnership and a Heart of Birmingham Teaching Primary Care Trust (HOBTPCT) Commissioner.
You will also be hearing from voluntary organisations that have been successful in securing health funding to find out from them what steps they needed to take in order to be commissioned by health. There will be an opportunity for you to think about what being ‘commissioning ready’ means for your organisation.
As well as having an informal networking opportunity over lunch there will also be a facilitated ‘speed –networking’ session designed to allow attendees the opportunity to spend time talking other attendees to help develop links with organisations you might be interested in working with.
To reserve your place please complete the attached booking form and return it by 11 March to Rosella Brennan at rosellab@bvsc.org or 0121 678 8817.
