This Big Lottery funded grants programme has been created to encourage more young people in England to set up projects that will make a real difference to their communities.

Projects which must be youth led are divided into two streams:

(a) 11-16 year group: Awards can be between £250 and £1,000 for groups of young people who are led by a nominated adviser;

(b) 16-25 year group: Awards can be between £500 and £5,000 for individuals or small groups of young people.

Priority will be given to projects that have a keeping safe, enjoying and achieving and staying healthy theme that is in accordance with Every Child Matters. The Prince's Trust will deliver the scheme on behalf of the Big Lottery Fund.
