CAMHS is holding a seminar entitled "Attachment issues in children", delivered by Pete Ayling who is a Senior Practitioner with the LAC CAMHS team, at the Sanctuary, High Street, Castle Vale.

CAMHS lunchtime seminars are an introductory level of training in child and adolescent mental health subjects. They are delivered by specialist practitioners from a variety of professions and services. The intention is to raise awareness about the mental health needs of children and young people and build the confidence and skills of those attending to recognise and respond to those needs. They are aimed at practitioners, working in voluntary or paid employment, with children, young people and families in Birmingham, particularly within the BEN PCT locality.

The seminar time is 12.30pm to 1.30pm.  Places do not need to be booked and they are free to attend. The sessions are organised by Jo Bodkin and Harvey Tagger from the Birmingham East and North Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service. Their contact details are:
