Children and Young Person's Bill is passed - CYPNow

The Children and Young Persons Bill had its third reading in the House of Commons last night, during which MPs debated several significant amendments. Smacking, fostering and provisions for looked-after children in custody were all on the agenda for discussion. But, much to the disappointment of campaigners, the amendment to current smacking rules was bypassed in the debate.
