14-19 education reform is progressing. The range of diplomas including the foundation learning tier and the spread across subjects is growing rapidly. Changes to the Government Departments: DCSF and DIUS, the greater involvement of different stakeholders including Schools, the LSC, Local Authorities, QCA, FE Colleges, other providers, agencies and Awarding Bodies is creating an interesting and complicated landscape

This Conference will describe the current state of that landscape and clarify the benefits to learners whilst identifying both the opportunities and difficulties faced by the stakeholders in implementing the reforms. Progress on the opening up of learner pathways and early feedback on diplomas will be covered alongside some case studies of emerging good practice in delivery.

Delegates will be able to electronically feedback their reactions to the subjects, relevant questions and emergent issues.

Who should attend?

Key representatives from all stakeholders, learning providers and agencies who wish to understand and assess the opportunities within 14-19 reform and those already involved who will benefit from the good practice and inspirational case studies.

The Conference will be held at Thinktank Science Museum, Millennium Point, Birmingham and the cost for Charity/Voluntary Organisation delegates is £205 +VAT.
